• Big UK rollercoaster challenge: In 2025, Dean Stokes (36, from Brighton) planned and filmed an ambitious road trip across the United Kingdom to ride every major rollercoaster and thrill ride in the country — originally aiming to ride 120 coasters at 32 theme parks in about 16 days. His journey started at Brighton Palace Pier and ended at Thorpe Park.

• Documenting the journey: He filmed and shared videos — on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and other social platforms — showing him travelling between parks, riding coasters, livestreaming moments, and interacting with followers and fellow enthusiasts along the way. This mixed travel/adventure/theme-park content attracted hundreds of thousands to millions of views across posts.

• Guinness World Record: Although weather disruptions (Storm Floris) affected his initial plan, he still rode a huge number of coasters (about 108 rides in 32 parks) and ultimately set a Guinness World Record for the most rollercoasters ridden in a single week — 55 rides in 7 days. This achievement was widely shared and helped push his theme park content viral.
