Crealy Theme Park & Resort is set to make history once again this summer with the official launch of ROTOR, opening July 31st, in what is being hailed as one of the biggest developments for the South West theme park industry in years.
Following the hugely successful opening of Pirates’ Plummet earlier this season — now recognised as the South West’s tallest drop tower experience — Crealy is continuing its bold evolution into a major thrill destination with the arrival of ROTOR: Devon’s first-ever inverted ride experience.
Designed to spin, flip and thrill riders in a high-energy experience unlike anything currently available in the county, ROTOR represents a landmark moment not just for Crealy, but for Devon tourism as a whole.
Set within Crealy Theme Park & Resort near Exeter, the new attraction further strengthens the park’s position as one of the UK’s leading family adventure destinations, already home to more than 60 rides and attractions across over 100 acres of Devon countryside.

The launch of ROTOR comes during a transformational year for Crealy. Earlier this spring, the park unveiled Pirates’ Plummet, an 80ft drop tower which immediately became one of the South West’s most talked-about new rides and the tallest drop tower experience in the region.
Together, the two attractions mark a major leap forward for the Devon theme park industry, helping position the county as an emerging destination for both family thrills and family entertainment on a national scale.
